Applications: What to send and where

Application materials for all of our programs go to one of two places:
1)School of Graduate Studies (online application; see http://rgs.usu.edu/gradguide/htm/apply):

·         Online application

·         Application Fee

·         GRE, GMAT, or MAT testing results

·         Official copy of transcript

·        Three letters of recommendation (you provide names and emails; the SGS contacts recommenders directly)

·         TOEFL or IELTS (International Students only) 

2) Director of Graduate Studies, Department of English (address below): 

·         Writing Samples (10-20 pages demonstrating writing appropriate to your proposed program)

·         Letter of Intent (either include in the SGS application or send directly to DGS; see following for what to include: http://usuenglishgrad.blogspot.com/2012/01/what-in-statement-of-purpose-or-letter.html

·         Optional cover letter indicating your wish to be considered for funding and/or interest in Graduate Instructorship (in which case you should describe any previous teaching experiences). This information may be in a separate letter or it go in your Letter of Intent) 

·         CV or Resume

·         Send these materials to
