Hello Utah Folklorists!

For those of you who are planning to attend AFS this year, we're holding an informal Utah folklorist meet-up on Wednesday, October 24th, at 5 PM, at the famous Carousel Bar (within the conference hotel, Hotel Monteleone).

AFS is always a busy time, but there are so many folklorists who are or who have been affiliated with the state of Utah (students, alums, public folklorists, faculty, fans, etc.) that it would be a shame not to take advantage of the opportunity for a reunion.  We're hoping that this can be an annual occurrence at AFS, so if you can't make it this year, please plan to come next time.

This is an inclusive event, so if you know anyone who supports folklore in Utah and who would be interested in joining in, please forward this to them!
