TW applicants may choose to submit test scores from the GMAT as an alternative to the GRE or MAT. Also, TW applicants need to send some extra materials directly to the DGS:
- A letter of intent, explaining applicants’ career goals, why they want to enter the program, and why they believe they are ready to work in an online instructional environment
- Their current resume
- Two writing samples demonstrating their ability or potential as professional communicators. They need to write a half-page introduction to each writing sample, explaining the context (their role as the writer, their audience, their purpose, the constraints they were working within, etc.). If they can’t supply a sample of professional or technical writing, they need to explain why not.
